The Nerve

I’m pretty excited by The Nerve, a new progressive media title founded by five former Guardian/Observer journalists, all women. 

There’s a free bi-weekly newsletter and a big focus on culture. I’ve had a peruse of the recent articles and I’m impressed. There’s no paywall right now, and I imagine they’ll try to keep it that way like they do at The Guardian, relying on subscription income. It’s £6.95/mo or £54/yr (launch offer) to become a supporter which seems very reasonable given the quality of writing and contributors. 

I’ve only read a few articles but I already want to support them. Given how we’re drowning in clickbait AI slop, it’s the perfect time to be supporting high quality journalism.
