The Andy Warhol of indie dev

Ethics aside (urgh), I'd agree with this. The quality of work produced by Claude (my coding AI of choice right now), when well-prompted, regularly blows my mind. I cannot and do not want to go back to that infuriating, head-scratching, hair-pulling, sloth-like programmer productivity of, er, 2 years ago. It's done, and if you're still digging your heels in, so is your career.

I'm happily running a growing side business on my own because I no longer feel like I'm alone. I have an enthusiastic and talented apprentice who can take my instructions, produce work to my high(ish) standards, and learn from mistakes. I have the vision, and my sidekick bangs out the work from my blueprint in short order. I feel like the Andy Warhol of indie dev where Pagecord is my pop art factory. It's absolutely liberating

Who knows where this ends, for better or worse, but the world of tech has flipped and if you work in this industry, you probably don't want to find yourself in the upside down
