Testing out Resend's inbound email feature

Postmark had some horrendous inbound email delivery delays yesterday, and it's still showing as "recovering". I already switched from Postmark to Mailpace for most of Pagecord's transactional email because of unacceptable outbound delivery delays, but I kept Postmark for inbound. Mailpace does offer inbound email, but I didn't want the hassle of moving... until now.

Rather than go all in with Mailpace I started experimenting with Resend today. I always liked Resend. They're like Stripe, but for email. I never used them for Pagecord originally because they didn't support inbound email, but now they do! I went down a bit of a rabbit hole finding an ActionMailbox engine for Resend (it's not natively in Rails, yet), fixing an issue with that engine, testing out inbound emails as well as transactional emails. At this point I figured I might as well just go the whole hog, so Resend is now handling all the outbound email that Mailpace was. For inbound, it's just my own account using it while I put it through its paces, but all being well I'll roll that out soon as well.

Resend is cheaper than the alternatives which is great for a budget-conscious project like Pagecord. I'm just hoping deliverability is as good as their product is slick.
