I set my expectations pretty low and this show massively over-delivered. It's absolutely superb! The script is tight and funny, the songs were superb ("Down and Out in Silicon Valley" was a highlight, as was the one where Jobs writes an email to God) and the performances – both singing and acting – were superb all round. It really deserves an off-West End run, it's that good.
The Edinburgh Fringe has a few warm up days this week – it doesn’t officially start until Friday but there are plenty of shows on, and today I discovered that if you sit in George Square around lunchtime you’ll have plenty of people coming up to you offering free tickets! Bums on seats for free is better than performing to an empty audience after all.
We had 4 offers within 30 minutes and we chose to see Down to Chance at the Pleasance. It was great!
