F1 the Movie

I watched F1 the Movie on IMAX this evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. I mean, I’m an avid F1 follower and Brad Pitt fanboy so my view is skewed, but it was honestly very well done. A pinch of Top Gun Maverick, a topping of Gran Turismo, corny but funny lines, lashings of brand placements and F1 cameos, but the real star (Brad aside) is the action. 

The race scenes are something else, especially on IMAX. I felt immersed! I haven’t yet delved into YouTube to watch any of the “how we made it” videos but I fully intend to. Remarkable, really. 

I don’t think you need to be a fan of F1 to enjoy the movie, but if you do follow the sport and have binge-watched Drive to Survive, I’m sure you’ll absolutely love it.
