Collateral

I watched Michael Mann’s Collateral again last night. Over 20 years since it came out and it still holds up as one of my favourite thrillers. 

The story - unfortunate cab driver picks up a contract killer - is good but it’s the sharp editing, the music, the cinematography and that whole neo-noir, LA after dark vibe that really makes it stand out. 

Pretty sure it will still be up there in another 20 years.
