Be elsewhere

I’m tired. Of our politics, the polarisation, the misinformation, the disinformation, the intolerance, the lies, the anger, the outrage, the hate. On all sides. 

I’m tired. Of billionaires, tech bros, tech dramas, culture wars, the manosphere, engagement bait, monetisation, algorithms, AI bots, deep fakes.

I’m tired. Of social media, the twitterverse, the infinite scroll, the ads, the comments, the egos, the fomos, the aggression, the data collection, the side effects. 

When you’re tired, you need to take a break. 

It’s time to spend my time with things that give me life, not strife. Art, photography, music, film, books, blogging, the small web, open source, open conversations, open space, open minds. 

It’s time to be elsewhere.
