One of my beefs with Spotify is its banal algorithmic playlists. They have no soul. No heart.
Their product should offer some human generated playlists, crafted with care, and pure enjoyment to listen to. Would it cost that much in the grand scheme of their multi-billion dollar business to employ a few music programmers? Of course not. They just choose not to, for reasons I can’t understand.
The BBC show it can be done. Their Morning After Mix is a fine example.

So come on Spotify, up your game and show us you actually appreciate music and see it as more than just content.
