Been thinking about how to avoid vendor lock in for customers of Pagecord.
For a start, you should be able to download all the posts (HTML and CSS, plus images) of your site in one click. Maybe a Dropbox integration that auto-syncs would be a nice touch. Either way the export should be a working static site that you could host yourself, if/when you decide to leave Pagecord.
This would be fine if you have a custom domain, but what about the majority that don’t? It’s stuck on the pagecord.com domain. In this case, maybe I could maintain a permanent redirect so all future requests to @you go where you want for time immemorial?
