Pagecord has had a premium plan for almost a year now, which means I’m about to start understanding churn. You can only pay annually for Pagecord – it’s $29 for a year, even cheaper in some other countries, so a monthly plan seems pointless.

It’s gonna be a little brutal. The first cohort of customers subscribed to a weak product and they haven’t engaged much. Some have already moved on. The good news is that the most recent subscribers (last 3-6 months) seem much more engaged, and signups are improving week on week, I think because of the flywheel effect on awareness. And also because the product is a lot better now!

I’ve got a few features dropping in the coming weeks, a new logo, maybe a video (😬) and a bit of refinement. It’s still a side project so I don’t plan much, I just go where the wind takes me. It’s a delightful (and privileged) way to work, and I’m delighted (and privileged) to be able to build, support and use the product as a happy customer myself (I do actually pay! 🤦).
