I thought The Apprentice was pretty good. The depiction of scuzzy New York in the 80s, the depiction of scuzzy Trump by Sebastian Stan, the standout performance of Trump’s scuzzy zombie-lawyer mentor by Jeremy Strong. Scuzzy all round, fittingly.
Like what comes out of Trump’s mouth today, you have no idea what specifics are true or not in the film, but it serves as a reminder that we have plenty of evidence to know the man is a fragile, hollow, despicable piece of shit.
