That feeling when you’ve done a big long push of work and refactored some whopping chunks of critical code and it’s all gone live and despite the passing tests there’s a rumbling sense of fear that there’s a time bomb somewhere waiting to go off.
At times like this you have to let it lie. Don’t keep pushing despite the momentum. Resit, don’t persist. Give it a while, let the dust settle. Fresh eyes bring fresh ideas.
This will be my mantra for the next couple of weeks.
