Call me nostalgic but there's something deeply wonderful seeing The Cure play their new album live for the first time. It's mesmerising.

I'm no goth, but I love The Cure. Robert Smith is 65 and still steadfastly driven to produce great art, to push his band and aim for perfection.  He's one of the good ones. In 40 years of rock stardom he's no doubt seen all of life, yet he appears grounded. His lyrics haven't succumbed to the banal, they're from the heart, full of love yet haunted by the tragedy and loss that comes with age.

Take some time out, turn up the volume and immerse yourself in one of the performances of the ages 🖤
